    QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

    TEI Chief Engineering Office is looking for a chiefaerodynamicsengineer who will be responsible fortechnically leading the aerodynamic design of turbomachinery components and other engine parts such as inlets, exhausts and interductsfor TEI’s current and future indigenous engine development projects.


    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Collaborates with the design engineers to meet requirements ofTEI’s indigenous engine development projects.
    • Reviews the designs and and assure that the design meets the requirements as well as theTEI’s design standards andpractices.
    • Identifies the training needs of the organizationandprepares trainingdocuments / provide trainingsto address theneed.
    • Identifies the needs and prepares / approves TEI’s technical documentssuch as Best Practices, Design Practices, etc. to assure / improve the design process andquality.
    • Works on test rig designs, verification strategies and certification items forTEI’s current and future indigenous engine development projects.
    • Works on enabling technologies / state of art design methodologies and their applicationson TEI’s indigenous engine developmentprojects.
    • Mentors less experienced engineers and help them develop their technicalskills.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospaceengineeringor related field.
    • Strong knowledge on turbomachinery aerodynamics, fundamental concepts and applications.
    • Hands on experience on aerodynamic design of compressors / turbines and other engine parts such as inlets, exhausts andinterducts.
    • Demonstated proficiency on the CFD tools for analysing turbomachinery components.
    • Experience on validation and verification of the modules designed by rig tests.
    • Experience on developing design tools for turbomachinery aerodynamics.
    • Experience on design optimization.
    • Knowledge on SAS, thermal and component cooling.
    • Knowledge on aero-mechanic & aero-thermaliterationsduringaerodesignphase.
    • Good level of English.
