    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering,
    • Excellent understanding of structural analysis / mechanics,
    • Minimum 5 years of structural analysis experience (preferably on turbochargers, gas turbines, piston engines or similar),
    • Experience in Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS or other commercial FEA software,
    • Willingness to do comprehensive research when required to develop or adopt new analysis methodologies to meet design validation requirements,
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English,
    • Ability to present, report & document analysis results effectively,
    • Proven self-starter and independent worker who can work with and/or lead cross-functional teams,
    • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with co-workers.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams,
    • Flexibility to work extended hours as circumstances require,
    • Demonstrated ability to reprioritize workload under short deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment,
    • Military obligation must be done for male candidates,
    • Strong mentoring skills to improve team mates’ analysis skills and help solving the problems they may have.

    Desired

    • MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering,
    • Familiarity with CAD software. (Unigraphics or other commercial CAD software),
    • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Concepts,
    • Having courses in Gas Turbine Design, Advanced Mechanical Design, Elasticity, Modal Analysis and Advance Vibrations, Finite Element Analysis topics,
    • Familiarity with material fatigue calculation methods for low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue, creep analysis and fracture mechanics.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Build and run complex 2D and 3D Finite Element models of whole engine according to company best practices, design practices and processes to support engine design within given time& budget and effectively present results to support design projects,
    • Carry out fatigue life analyses to help engine designs meet customer requirements,
    • Provide guidance to design engineers to solve design problems or improve designs,
    • Provide structural analysis mentoring to less experienced team mates to improve their analysis skills and help them solve their analysis related problems.
